Terms and Conditions

1. What Scouting is

Scouting is an AI-matching platform that connects Candidates looking for work with Companies looking to hire. We score and explain the fit between a Candidate's profile and a Company's job posting using AI. We do not guarantee that any match will result in an interview, offer, or hire, and we are not a party to any employment relationship formed through the Platform.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of the CV and profile information they submit. Companies are responsible for the accuracy of job postings.

3. How matching and payment work

Candidates create a profile by uploading a CV or completing our questionnaire. Our AI scores Candidates against a Company's job postings. A Company can see basic, non-identifying information about a match for free. To see a Candidate's full profile, full standardized CV PDF, and to message them, a Company must pay the applicable unlock fee for that specific match.

Unlock fees are shown before payment and are non-refundable once a Company has unlocked a Candidate's full details, except where required by law.

4. Candidate data shared with Companies

By creating a Candidate profile, you consent to your basic (non-identifying) match information being shown to Companies with relevant open roles, and to your full profile and standardized CV being shared with a specific Company once that Company pays to unlock that match, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Platform to post false information, to scrape or resell data obtained through the Platform, to harass another user, or to attempt to bypass the payment-gated access to Candidate details.

6. Intellectual property

The Platform, including the standardized CV format and our AI-generated match scoring and advisory content, is owned by Scouting. Candidates retain ownership of their own CV content and personal information.

7. No guarantee, no liability for hiring outcomes

Scouting provides matching and informational tooling only. We make no guarantee about the accuracy of AI-generated scores or advice, and we are not liable for any hiring decision, employment outcome, or dispute between a Candidate and a Company.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scouting's liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the fees paid by the claiming party in the three months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms. You may close your account at any time.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent UAE courts.
